El adaptador de telefonía analógica multiplataforma Cisco ATA 192 convierte dispositivos de comunicación tradicionales como teléfonos, máquinas de fax o buscapersonas en dispositivos IP para un mayor ahorro de costes. Los clientes pueden utilizar aplicaciones de telefonía IP conectando sus dispositivos analógicos a los adaptadores de telefonía analógica de Cisco.

El ATA 192 es la solución preferida para satisfacer las necesidades de los clientes que se conectan a redes empresariales, oficinas pequeñas o esquemas de comunicaciones unificadas como servicio (UCaaS) desde la nube. Contiene dos puertos FXS estándar que pueden configurarse independientemente como sendos registros de protocolo de inicio de sesión (SIP). También dispone de dos puertos 100BASE-T con rúter de alto rendimiento integrado para ampliar la conectividad de la red local.

El ATA 192 ha sido diseñado para funcionar con sistemas de control de llamadas de terceros y no funciona con los sistemas de control de llamadas de Cisco.
